Politics Turning Leaf In UP, BJP MLA Asim Arun Thanks Young Team That Aided In His Win
Lucknow, March 22 (TNA) Its rare for politicians to be thankful, specially of the stakeholders are the ones who have been paid for it. However, politicis in Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous and politically crucial state seems to be changing leaf. And the winds of change were seen on Tuesday on micro-blogging site Twitter when former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer turned politician Asim Arun thanked a team of young professionals for the help extended during the recently concluded state assembly elections.
Sharing a picture of himself with the young team which helped him in media monitoring, communication outreach and research, the former Kanpur police commissioner, who has now been elected as a legislator on a BJP ticket from Kannauj Sadar said the victory was made possible with the help of this pack of youngsters. he has also given them a certificate of recognition as well.
Arun, the grapevine has it is likely to find a place in the government when it is sworn in on March 25. He has so far had an illustrious career with the IPS and his father, late Sri Ram Arun was one of the most respected cops in the state who alsos erved as the DGP.
