President Murmu Visits Varanasi, Pays Obeisance At Kashi Vishwanath And Kaal Bhairav Temple

Varanasi, February 13 (TNA) President Draupadi Murmu paid obeisance at Sri Kashi Vishwanath temple on Monday. The President was overwhelmed to see the grandeur of the famous Shiva temple. Before this, she also reached the Kotwal Baba Kaal Bhairav temple in Kashi to worship. At the same time, in the evening, participated in the grand Aarti of Mother Ganga to be held at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

President Draupadi Murmu, who reached Varanasi on a one-day visit, was rearlier eceived by Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. After this, the President first reached the Kaal Bhairav temple and offered prayers according to the rituals. After darshan and worship here, the priest of the temple presented Baba Kal Bhairav's photo and prasad to the President as a memento.

The President then reached the Vishweshwar Jyotirlinga temple located at Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Here she worshiped with Shodashopachar method. After paying obeisance in the court of Baba Vishwanath, the President wished for the welfare of all living beings. She also visited the grand Vishwanath Dham and praised its beauty. On behalf of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, the President was accorded special welcome and felicitation by wearing Angavastram and presenting a memento.
