Priority Corridor Of Kanpur Metro Between IIT- Motijheel To Be Inaugurated Tomorrow

Kanpur, Nov 10 (TNA) The priority corridor of the ambitious Kanpur Metro Rail project will be inaugurated on November 15, an official of the UP metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) said on

Tuesday. The inauguration would be done by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath in presence of union housing and urban development minister Hardeep Singh Puri at the Kanpur Metro depot, near Gurudev Cinema at 9:15 am.

The priority corridor is a 9-km stretch between IIT-Kanpur and Motijheel and was completed in a short span of two years. What is remarkable is that work on this stretch was completed despite the Covind pandemic which brought all good things to a grinding halt around the world for most of 2020 and 2021.
