Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Takes A Dip At The Holy Sangam On Mauni Amavasya

Prayagraj, February 11 (TNA) Congress general secretary, incharge of Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited the holy city of Prayagraj on Friday and took a dip at the holy confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and mystical Saraswati.

Dressed in a maroon salwar-suit, the Congress leader interacted with workers on arrival and the drove to Sangam where she took a boat ride. She then took the dip on the occasion of Mauni Amawasya, a holy day for Hindus. Millions of devotees took teh dip at various rivers across the state.

In Prayagraj, the Yogi Adityanath government ordered the showering of rose petals on the bathing devotees and a chopper did the needful. The flower showering trended on the Twitter the whole day.
