Probe Of Attack On Gorakhnath Temple Security Personnel Assigned To ATS-STF
Lucknow, April 4 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh police has termed the attack on two PAC personnel by a young man late on Sunday as an “act of terror” and has handed over the probe to ATS.
According to a statement by the Home department, the man was trying to barge into the Gorakhnath temple with ill-will but the bravehearts of the UP police and PAC foiled his conspiracy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has meanwhile announced a cash reward of Rs five lakh to the injured police personnel - Gopal Gaur and Anil PAswan (both PAC) and Anurag Rajput of the Civil Police. Adityanath has also directed the UPATS and the UP STF to jointly probe the incident and unveil the conspiracy at the earliest.
