Process Of Transferring Policemen Posted In A District For Three Years Initiated In Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Oct 3 (TNA) The process of removing policemen posted in a district for three years in Uttar Pradesh has started. ADG Establishment Sanjay Singhal, on behalf of the DGP, has written a letter to all the ADG Zones and Police Commissioners asking them to give information about transfers. After this order, Lucknow Police Commissionerate has transferred 303 sub-inspectors.

On September 23, the ADG Establishment had written a letter to all the ADG Zones and Police Commissioners asking them to transfer from Additional Superintendent of Police to Sub Inspector posted in the same district for the last three years. This order was given to file the report of the screening committee formed on the instructions of the government in view of the Lok Sabha elections.

In this, it was also mentioned about the transfer of those policemen who have been previously appointed or are continuously appointed in the general or by-elections held in that assembly constituency. If any policeman has been removed on the basis of complaint in the previous elections or disciplinary action has been taken, he was instructed not to be put on election duty.

At the same time, if there is any specific complaint against any inspector or sub-inspector or complaint of bias or partiality towards any political party, then instructions were given to transfer him to another place.
