PWD Minister Jitin Prasada Sanctions First Installment For Developing Road Leading To Birthplace of Lord Parshuram
Lucknow, August 26 (TNA) In a big move aimed at promoting religious tourism in the state, the PWD minister Jitin Prasada has approved the first installment to relaying and improvement of the road leading to the birth place of Parushrama, the venerated God of Brahmins.
The minister, who many in the Brahmin community look up to as “their voice” in the Yogi Adityanath government in the state, has sanctioned Rs 22.63 lakh of the total earmarked 226.38 lakhs for the revamp of the 3.50 km road and its widening. The minister informed that once the project takes shape, the locals and pilgrims to the birth place of Lord Parushram, in Jalalabad tehsil in Shahjahanpur will be immensely benefitted.
This road falling under the Jalalbad development block turns right from KM-495 of the National Highway 29 and goes through the villages Sujawalpur and Baghapur and meets the NH-730C. The area has already been declared a tourist place in April and the state government is going ahead with plans to develop it in a big way.
