Radhasoami Satsang Sabha Land Dispute Case: Allahabad HC Issues Notice To UP Govt On Contempt Petitions

Prayagraj, October 18 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) on Wednesday sought response from the Uttar Pradesh government with regards to two contempt of court petitions filed before it against the Agra district administration in the Radhasoami Satsang Sabha land dispute case of Dayalbagh.

Hearing on two contempt petitions filed by Radhasoami Satsang Sabha against the demolition action of Agra District Administration on the land owned by Satsang Sabha were held after which the Allahabad High Court also directed the standing counsel to take instructions in the case within a month. Next date of hearing of the case has been fixed on December 8.

The single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal also directed the applicant (Satsang Sabha) to give a copy of contempt application to standing counsel IB Singh.

A contempt application was filed on behalf of Radha Soami Satsang Sabha against the District Magistrate and various officials of the district administration who were involved in the alleged illegal demolition of the boundary wall and gate at the properties of Radhasoami Satsang Sabha in Dayalbagh.
