Rahul-Priyanka Meet Bereaved Family Of Journalist Killed In Lakhimpur Kheri Violence

Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 7 (TNA) After a late-night visit to meet the family members of a deceased farmer in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, the sister-brother duo of Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi called on the bereaved family of the slain journalist Raman Kashyap.

Consoling the family for their loss, the Congress leaders assured them that they would always stand by them in thich and thin. We will fight until justice is met and that would be the real tribute to Raman, Priyanka Gandhi reportedly told the family.

Kashyap, who worked with Sadhna Plus TV channel was killed in the clashes that erupted between farmers and BJP workers after a fleet of cars ploughed through a farmer procession in Tikunia on Sunday.
