Railway Board Member Jaya Verma Sinha Reaches Prayagraj, Calls For No Delay In Projects Related To Mahakumbh
Prayagraj, July 23 (TNA) Railway Board member Jaya Verma Sinha has sought to ensure no delay in the work of Mahakumbh. Get all the work done in a timely manner and North Central Railway, Northern Railway and North Eastern Railway should coordinate with each other and complete the work proposed for Mahakumbh in a phased manner, she underlined.
Member (Operations and Business Development) of Railway Board, who reached Prayagraj on Saturday also inspected the Operation Control Center (OCC) of DFCCIL built on 4.20 acres of land at Subedarganj. She was briefed with various informations about the control room built under Make-in-India.
It was informed that the entire 1337 km route of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) can be viewed from here. All technical systems including train operation, electricity can be viewed and controlled.
Jaya Verma sought the views of the officials on the potential of the corridor in achieving the goals of NRP-2030. She also directed officials to increase the number of stalls for providing economy food to passengers on every platform. For this, the Zonal Railways will decide the place.
