Refused Money From A Property Deal, 20-Year-Old Kills Grand Father In Kanpur
Kanpur, August 26 (TNA) In a shocking incident, a 92-year-old man was killed by his own grandson in Kanpur rural over a property. According to information available, on Wednesday evening, the victim - Shatrughan Singh alias Sattan, a resident of Sarsaul, who ran a grocery shop. He was sitting with his grandson Mudit when his second grandson, 20-year-old Devendra alias Chunnu came there.
He had two pistols in both hands and without any provocation, he opened fire on his grand father. While the first shot missed him, the second hit Shatrughan on his head and he slumped to the ground, dying on the spot. When Mudit tried to intervene, he was also fired at but he managed to escape as the assailant again missed the fire.
After this, he hit Mudit with a stone on his head and escaped. Maharajpur SO Raghavendra Singh said that the accused Devendra is on the run and that an FIR has bene lodged. Police investigation has so far revealed that Shatrughan had sold a property worth Rs 50 lakh some time back. Devendra was asking for a share in it. There was a dispute about this for a long time.
