BJP's Rita Bahuguna Joshi Facilitates Installation of Lord Parusharam Statue In Lucknow Temple
Lucknow, January 7 (TNA) Lord Parushram has become the pivot of politics in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh. As the state readies itself for the state assembly elections, likely to be announced anytime now, wooing Brahmins is top priority of all parties. And so a week after Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav unveiled a huge statue of Parushram, the ruling BJP followed suit today.
BJP Lok Sabha MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s son Mayank got a statue of the seer installed at Sahasovir temple of Krishna Nagar in the state capital on Friday. The five feet marble statue has been made in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, law minister Brijesh Pathak and Prayagraj MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi were present at the unveiling function of the statue.
