RLD Names Candidates For Baghpat, Bijnore Parliamentary Seats In UP

Lucknow, March 5 (TNA) After sealing the deal with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has now announced its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls 2024. The party, which was allotted two Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh has named Chandan Chauhan from the Bijnore Lok Sabha seat while Dr Rajkumar Sangwan has been fielded as the party candidate from Baghpat.

For the forthcoming Vidhan Parishad polls in the state, the RLD has announced Yogesh Chaudhary as its candidate for the sole seat which has come in its share as an NDA alliance partner. RLD Chief Jayant Singh had snapped ties with the I.N.D.I alliance earlier this month and had walked into the NDA fold, stunning many, including Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav.
