Robbers Attack Elderly Woman In Prayagraj Home, Lakhs Looted

Prayagraj, March 18 (TNA) Robbers attacked a woman at her home near Lukarganj Sindhi Dharamshala of Khuldabad police station area. The miscreant barged into the house and fatally attacked an elderly woman. When she fell unconscious after being hit by an iron rod. After this, he looted jewelry and cash worth lakhs from the house and fled.

The robber had entered the house alone. The woman has been admitted to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital. Police officers reached the spot when information was received. Kanhaiya Lalwani, a resident of Lukarganj, has a bakery shop in Naini. He sits at the shop with his two sons. Kanhaiya and his sons went to the shop on Friday. His wife Anita Lalwani (60) was alone in the house.

She was cutting vegetables at night when a man entered inside with an iron rod and attacked Anita. When Kanhaiya and his sons reached home, they were shocked to see Anita bleeding. From the scattered house, they realized that there had been a robbery.

On information, Inspector Khuldabad Anurag Sharma and ACP Shahganj Satyendra Tiwari reached the spot. CCTV footage checked. ACP Tiwari informed that the miscreant is being searched on the basis of his appearance.
