Rs 5.33 Lakh Collected As Fine For Littering At Prayagraj Railway Division Stations, Trains

Prayagraj, Dec 13 (TNA) Spreading filth on the railway station and littering trains cost dearly to 4630 people. Talking about North Central Railway (NCR) Prayagraj division, a fine of Rs 5.33 lakh was collected from the passengers for littering during the period from April 1, 22 to November 30, 2022.

Prayagraj Division's PRO Amit Singh informed the media that 4630 people were caught for littering during the campaign at Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur, Mirzapur, Aligarh, Tundla, Prayagraj Chhivki, Subedarganj, Fatehpur, Etawah etc. stations.

During this, 1372 people were arrested at Prayagraj Junction and 1465 in Kanpur. Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh respectively were recovered from them as fine.
