Saharanpur Police Attaches Properties Worth Rs 21 Crore Of Mining Mafia Haji Iqbal

Saharanpur, May 2 (TNA) In one of the biggest actions against the minining mafia, the Saharanpur Police has seized properties worth Rs 21 crore of mining mafia Haji Iqbal. The police have seized the benami properties of mining mafia Haji Iqbal alias Bala. Former MLC Haji Iqbal has 50 benami properties in the name of his servant Naseem.

These are valued at more than Rs 21 crores. On Sunday, 50 benami properties were attached under the 14(1) of the Gangster Act. SSP Akash Tomar said that the police had identified these benami properties in Behat area. In which 600 bighas of land is also included. He owns three sugar mills and Haji Iqbal has made Naseem the director of sugar mills of Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur and Sitapur.
