SC Refuses To Hear Petition Seeking Scientific Survey Of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Complex in Mathura
New Delhi, Sep 22 (TNA) The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday refused to hear a petition related to the scientific survey of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah complex in Mathura. The apex court said that the matter is still pending in Allahabad High Court.
On the petition of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Nirman Trust, Allahabad High Court had said that first the decision on its acceptability will be taken and only then the demand for survey will be considered.
A petition was filed in the Supreme Court demanding a scientific survey of the Shahi Idgah of Mathura on the lines of the Gyanvapi complex, on which the Supreme Court refused to hear. The Supreme Court told the petitioner that now Allahabad High Court is hearing all the matters related to this case, you should go there.
Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In July, Allahabad High Court had rejected the petition demanding scientific survey of Shahi Idgah. Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust had challenged the decision of Allahabad High Court in the Supreme Court.
