Lucknow, July 19 (TNA) Kunwar Bhumendra Pal Singh of Awagarh has been appointed as the Uttar Pradesh State Vice President of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha, a statement from the organisation said on Monday.

The 43-year-old Bhumendra Pal Singh is the scion of the royal house of Awagarh, UP. He had done his schooling from The Daly College, Indore and Masters of Commerce from St.John's College, Agra a sister concern of St.Stephens, New Delhi. He started his career working as a Partner with “Wildcraft” The company helps local craftsmen around Awagarh promote their crafts in the overseas market. Wildcraft depicts animal motif designs using various mediums.

The Awagarh family made one of the biggest contributions in the field of education and promotion of crafts. The family has been a follower of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and helped him set up Shantiniketan. The greatest contribution amongst the family was made by his great great grand father Raja Balwant Singh.
