Senior IAS Mukul Singhal Elected President Of Lucknow Golf Club

Lucknow, Oct 11 (TNA) Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Mukul Singhal late on Sunday emerged victorious in the Golf Club elections and was elected the president with a comfortable margin. He polled 720 votes while his opponent, additional chief secretary (MSME and Information) Navneet Sehgal got 574 votes.

The high-decibel poll campaign for the premium club of the state capital had drawn eyeballs as both sides put their best show to woo the voters and despite the clout enjoyed by Sehgal, he failed to make to the finishing line. Singhal is posted as Chairman, Revenue Board.

The Mukul Singhal-led panel also won all the three other posts as well. Adesh Seth won the post of Captain, Sandeep Das was elected the secretary while Labir Singh Bisht was elected the joint secretary/treasurer.
