Shooter Trio Of Atique Ahmed-Ashraf To Be Produced Before Court Via Video Conferencing Today
Prayagraj, November 17 (TNA) The three shooters of dreaded mafia don Atique Ahmed and his brother Ashraf - Sunny, Lovelesh and Arun, will appear in a city court on Friday. It is likely that charges may be framed by the court against them.
The charge sheet has been sent to the court against accused Arun, Lovelesh and Shani Singh under IPC sections 302, 307, 302, 120 B, 419, 420, 467, 468 Arms Act 377 Criminal Law Amendment Act. Its trial is going on in the court of District Judge Santosh Rai.
Their appearance will be done through video conferencing. The court has appointed an amicus curiae to represent shooter Sunny Singh, while advocate Gaurav Singh is representing Lovelesh and Arun Maurya.
Sunny, accused of murder of famous mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, will be represented by amicus curiae Ratnesh Kumar Shukla. This appointment has been made by the District Judge during the hearing of the case. The District Judge had earlier ordered the accused to appoint a lawyer to present their case during the hearing.
Lovelesh Tiwari and Arun Maurya had appointed advocate Gaurav Singh to present their case, but no one could appear on behalf of Sunny. On this, the District Judge appointed an amicus curiae to present his side. After this, the date of November 17 was fixed for framing of charges in the case. District government advocate Gulab Chandra Agrahari said that the court can decide on the three accused in the next hearing.
