Six Killed In Shravasti As Innova Rams Into A Roadside Tree

Shravasti, April 15 (TNA) Six persons were in killed in Ekauna area of Shrawasti on Saturday when the vehicle they were coming in from Ludhiana rammed into a roadside tree after a sudden flat tyre. The Innova car had 14 people on board when the mishap took place.

After receiving information, the police reached the spot and with with the help of JCB and gas cutters got the occupants out of the vehicle. 8 persons who were seriously injured in the accident have been referred to Bahraich for treatment. According to preliminary information, people in the car were headed for a funeral when the accident took place on NH-730.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the road accident. The Chief Minister has directed the officials of the district administration to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them proper treatment, an official informed.
