Lucknow, October 13 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict orders to district officials to ensure that land disputes are sorted out on top priority. His instructions come on the heels of a land dispute in Deoria, which left six of a family dead.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a strict tone that officers should be especially cautious in cases of land disputes, an official informed. Expressing displeasure over a recent molestation incident in Bareilly, he directed to strictly control the rioters. The Chief Minister was reviewing the preparations and law and order in view of the upcoming festivals on Thursday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Commissioner and DM will be held responsible for negligence in settling the cases of name transfer, inheritance, family division and measurement. Expressing strong displeasure over the delay and releasing the tehsil-wise performance report, he said that the trend of "date after date" will not be accepted at all.

If action is taken against Accountant, Revenue Inspector etc., then Divisional Commissioner and DM will also be held accountable. Expressing displeasure over the incident of molestation of a student in Bareilly, he directed to strictly control the miscreants.

During the video-conferencing, he took in-depth stock of the preparations made for the convenience and safety of the devotees in the major Devi temples during Shardiya Navratri. Said that the fourth phase of Mission Shakti Abhiyan is going to start on Shardiya Navratri, it is the responsibility of all of you to make it successful.

In view of the Israel-Palestine dispute, the Chief Minister said that all police captains should immediately communicate with religious leaders in their areas. Any activity contrary to the views of the Government of India will not be accepted in this matter. Be it social media or any religious place, no crazy statements etc. should be issued. If there is any malicious attempt by anyone to do so, action should be taken immediately, he underlined.
