Lucknow, Nov 1 (TNA) Employees of the Uttar Pradesh government are set to get a new lesson in discipline soon. And so, if after the end of the period of sanctioned leave, a state employee remains absent from duty in an unauthorized manner for more than one year, then it will be deemed that he has resigned from the job.

Once the leave is sanctioned, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to implement this system of All India Services (Leave) Rules for the state employees also to curb the tendency of employees to remain absent from the office under the guise of leave. For this, preparations are being made to get the approval of the proposal from the cabinet soon.
