STF Busts Fake Currency Gang In Lucknow, Two Arrested

Lucknow, July 19 (TNA) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police busted a gang involved in smuggling of fake currency and arrested two smugglers on Thursday night. The smugglers were arrested from Gudamba area. Both the smugglers are residents of Rajasthan.

STF Deputy SP Deepak Kumar Singh said that information was received about a consignment of fake notes arriving in the city.

On the basis of the tip-off, a team was activated. Ramswaroop Vishnoi and Vishnu Sharma were arrested from near Scorpio Club at 9:30 pm last night. The accused are residents of Bikaner district of Rajasthan. 50 fake notes of Rs 500 each, a rubber stamp and other things were recovered from them.
