STF Busts Fake Vaccine Making Gang In Varanasi, Five Arrested

Lucknow, February 2 (TNA) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday bust a gang in Varanasi which was manufacturing fake vaccines and testing kits. 5 gang members

were arrested and they have been identified as Rakesh Thawani, Sandeep Sharma, Lakshya Jawa, Shamsher, Arunesh Vishwakarma. On interrogation Rakesh Thawani confessed of making fake vaccines and testing kits along with

Sandeep Sharma, Arunesh Vishwakarma and Shamsher. They used to supply it to a vendor who then distributed it in different states through their network.

The estimated market value of the seized drugs is around Rs 4 crore. Varanasi STF is interrogating the accused and collecting information about their gang and legal action is being taken.
