STRIVE Organises Inaugural 'Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Lecture'

Lucknow, March 18 (TNA) The STRIVE, a Lucknow based Think Tank in conjunction with the HQ Central Command organized a lecture on Theaterisation of the Combat Power is the Way Ahead for an integrated Response in the Battle Spaces of the Future' on Wednesday at the Surya Auditorium at Lucknow. Lt Gen Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM, the GOC-in-C, Central Command delivered the talk.

During the talk the Army Cdr covered the contours of the future battle fields, need for optimization of the combat power at the point of its application and the need for an integrated approach to synergise all available elements of the combat power. The lecture was attended by a large number of serving officers and the veterans in the Station.

This was the inaugural lecture of the Annual Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Lecture which STRIVE has instituted as an annual event to be held on 16 Mar every year, which happens to be Late Gen Biplin Rawat's Birthday. A member of STRIVE informed that STRIVE has been formed by group of Indian Armed: Forces veterans and during its journey of last two years since inception, it has been organizing seminars/webinars on issues related to Nation Building and the National Security almost every month.
