Thousands Bid Tearful Final Adieu To Mulayam Singh Yadav In Saifai

Saifai, Oct 12 (TNA) Mortal remains of former union defence minister Mulayam Singh Yadav were consigned to flames in his native village on Tuesday evening in presence of a battery of VVIP’s, film actors, politicians, chief ministers of many states, Samajwadi Party (SP) workers, family members and villagers.

Hundreds and thousands turned up to pay their last respects to the three-time chief minister of UP who passed away at Medanta hospital, Gurugram on Monday morning aged 82. Among those who turned up included businessmen Anil Ambani, Subrata Roy Chaudhary, chief minister of Chattisgarh Bhupesh Singh Baghel, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, union defence minister Rajnath Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Gandhi, Maneka Gandhi, Prafull Patel, deputy CM’s of UP Brajesh Pathak & Keshav Prasad Maurya, Sharad Pawar and his daughter Supriya Sule, Mallikarjun Kharge, Pramod Tiwari and many more.

The funeral pyre made of sandalwood brought in from Kannauj, was lit by Mulayam’s son and SP president Akhilesh Yadav in presence of family members Ram Gopal Yadav, Shivpal Singh Yadav, Prateik Yadav, Dharmendra, Aaditya Yadav among others.
