Three Killed As Bus Rams Into Stationary Truck On Agra-Lucknow Expressway

Auraiyya, December 19 (TNA) Three persons were killed and eight injured when a bus rammed into a stationary truck standing on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Monday. The bus was going from Haridwar to the state capital Lucknow when the mishap took place at milestone 137.

According to information available, due to poor visibility a truck had climbed the divider in the morning and was stuck there.

The bus rammed into it from the rear as the driver could not notice the struct vehicle. The bus driver and two passengers seated on the front seat died on the spot. The injured have been rushed to Saifai. The deceased have been identified as

bus driver Pappu Yadav (50) resident of Brahmapur Mathura, Mahesh Chandra (32), resident of Gaura Katari Amethi and another passenger is yet to be identified.
