Three Killed, Four Critically Injured In A Road Mishap In Chandauli

Chandauli, April 21 (TNA) Three persons travelling in a car were killed on Friday in a road accident in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh, while the other four occupants of the car have sustained serious injuries. The injured were initially admitted to the district hospital for treatment from where they were referred to Varanasi when their condition became critical.

The three deceased, include a father-son died in the accident. Primary investigation appears to suggest that the man behind the wheel fell off to sleep, leading to the crash.

Apparently, as the driver dozed off, the car rammed into a static truck standing on the roadside of the National Highway. The families of the victims have been informed and the bodies sent for autopsy.
