Thundershowers Predicted In Many Parts Of UP Today

Lucknow, August 26 (TNA) Most parts of Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive medium to heavy rainfall on Monday and the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, on August 26, rain may occur in many places in UP with thunder and lightning. Strong winds can blow at the speed of 20 to 30 kilometres per hour in the eastern and western areas and heavy rains can also occur, the weatherman has warned.

Heavy rain is forecast in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh and Sonbhadra of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, heavy rain is expected in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Kanpur Dehat and Kanpur Nagar. Apart from this, heavy rain may also occur in Rae Bareli, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Sant Ravidas and surrounding areas.

On August 27, some places in Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience thundershowers. On August 28, rain and thundershowers may occur in some places in eastern and western districts. On August 29, an alert has been issued for rain with thunder and lightning at some places in western UP and rain with thunder and lightning at some places in eastern UP. According to IMD, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur in some places in western Uttar Pradesh and many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on August 26.
