Tickets Of All BJP Lok Sabha MPs In UP, Except Modi To Be Cut, Claims Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, February 2 (TNA) Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to cut the tickets of all its sitting Lok Sabha MP’s for the upcoming general elections. Talking to reporters ahead of the budgets ession of the state assembly, the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief said that he had concrete and credible information that BJP will give tickets to fresh faces in 2024.

“BJP is going to cut tickets of everyone except Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he claimed and added that this was a “breaking news” for the media that he was giving. “BJP is going to cancel the tickets of all except one MP in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and their seats will also be changed” he said. The Yadav chieftain also claimed that it was possible that PM Modi's seat may also be changed.

PM Modi is currently an MP from Varanasi. He added that only PDA (backward, Dalit and minority) will defeat NDA in the Lok Sabha elections. Youth are suffering from unemployment under BJP government. Even after being in power for 10 years, BJP has not been able to reduce unemployment and inflation. All his promises to the farmers are incomplete. BJP has made the farmers the most unhappy during its rule, he charged.
