Traffic Diversions In Old Lucknow Due To Moharram Processions Today And Tomorrow
Lucknow, July 16 (TNA) The procession of 9th and 10th Moharram will be taken out across the city on Shabe-Ashura on Tuesday, 16th July and on Moharram on Wednesday, 17th July. Traffic will be restricted on 13 routes of old Lucknow, an official informed.
During the time of the processions, diversion will be applicable on the routes of the procession. Vehicle riders will be able to travel through alternative routes. 8 roads will remain closed on Tuesday on 9th Moharram: The procession of Shabe-Ashura on 9th Moharram will be taken out at 9 pm on 16th July.
This procession will start from Nazim Sahib's Imambara Victoria Street and will end at Dargah Hazrat Abbas Mohalla Rustamnagar Saadatganj via Akbari Gate, Mayfair Tiraha, Billochpura Tiraha, Girdhari Singh Inter College, Mansoor Nagar Tiraha, Maidan LH Khan, Kashmiri Mohalla.
The road will be closed from morning on 10th Moharram on Wednesday. During this time, the road will be open for ambulance vehicles, hearse vehicles, fire service, school vehicles on the restricted routes.
