Trio Arrested In Ghaziabad For Duping Dozens As RAW Officers, Accused Are Graduates

Ghaziabad, April 30 (TNA) Three youngsters have been arrested by the police for luring people with employment offers with the government and duping them as RAW Agents. Aniket, a psychology graduate, is the leader of the gang. He is a graduate in Psychology. Both his companions Mukul and Abhishek are also graduates.

The arrests were made by Nagar Kotwali police. An officer informed TNA that these criminals cheated people in the name of getting jobs in Army, RAW and Railways by posing as RAW agents in Ghaziabad. Recently, they were cheating the youth by promising to get them recruited in the army under Agniveer Yojana.

A case was registered in the city police station in the matter. They have cheated 20 people of about Rs 25 lakhs in two years. DCP City Nipun Aggarwal informed that Aniket Dutta, Mukul Verma and Abhishek Sharma have been arrested.

Mukul Verma is a resident of Sihani Gate and Jatwara of Abhishek Nagar Kotwali while Abhishek Dutta was living in Nagloi, New Delhi. Basically he is a resident of North Dinajpur, West Bengal.

A laptop, three mobile phones along with a fake card of an army lieutenant colonel and air force squad leader in the name of Aniket have been recovered from them. On enquiry, it has come to light that Aniket was living in Delhi-NCR by changing his address. He had also opened fake bank accounts to receive the defrauded amount.
