Truck Falls Into Roadside Pit In Prayagraj, Two Killed

Prayagraj, March 4 (TNA) A truck driver fell asleep while driving the truck and it fell in a roadside pit in Nawabganj area of Prayagraj on Friday, police said. The deceased have been identified as the truck driver and his helper. The mishap happened on the Kokhraj-Handia Highway near Nematiwari Ka Pura village.

The truck was going from Rajasthan to Ranchi carrying a mustard oil consignment. Bodies of the deceased - Pappu (39), Chetan (33) have been sent for post-mortem.
