Two Bogies Of A Goods Train Derail On Jhansi-Manikpur Railway Section In Mahoba, Train Movement Disrupted
Mahoba, February 20 (TNA) Two bogies of a goods train have derailed on Jhansi-Manikpur railway track in Mahoba leading to disruption of movement of many trains disrupted. As a result of the mishap, Sampark Kranti Express has been stopped at Banda, an official informed TNA.
Several other trains have also been stopped due to derailment of two bogies of goods train near Harpalpur railway station in Mahoba. After this incident in Jhansi-Manikpur railway track, repair work is being done by the railway personnel. The movement of Sampark Kranti and Bundelkhand Express trains passing through this route has been affected. Both the trains have been made to stand at other stations.
This incident took place near Harpalpur railway station of Madhya Pradesh which comes under Mahoba GRP and RPF police station area. It is said that during the night the goods train was coming towards Mahoba by spreading ballast on both sides of the railway track. Then the rear two bogies of the goods train suddenly derailed and overturned.
The driver of the goods train stopped the train taking precaution. Railway personnel including GRP and RPF police have reached the spot as soon as the bogie derailment was reported.
