Two Hardened Criminals Caught In Prayagraj After Police Encounter

Prayagraj, April 23 (TNA) In big success in its operation to flush out criminals, the Prayagraj police early on Tuesday nabbed two hardened criminals after a gun battle. The police encounter took place between the Nawab Ganj Police, under the direction of DCP Abhishek Bharti and the notorious miscreants.

The police were checking in Shringverpur when two people riding on a bike started running away after seeing the police, when the police chased them, the miscreants opened fire on the police. In retaliatory firing, the police bullet hit the leg of one of the miscreants and both were caught.

The injured criminal was identified as Maseed Khan, who is from Pratapgarh, while the second criminal caught was Dilshad Khan, who is from Mauima. A pistol and some cartridges have also been recovered from them. The police are interrogating the criminal duo.
