Two Miscreants Arrested In Agra After Encounter With Police

Agra, April 10 (TNA) Two miscreants were arrested after a gun battle with the Agra police in the intervening night of Sunday-Monday, an official said. Multiple rounds were fired from both sides after which two criminals were arrested and one was injured. The injured criminal has been admitted to a medical facility.

The duo was behind many cases of loot and dacoity in the city and neighbouring areas and more than 30 cases had been registered against them.

Two pistols, several cartridges and a bike have been recovered from their possession. The encounter took place between the criminals and a joint team of SOG and surveillance team in Transportnagar of Hari Parwat area.
