Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Meets Shia Cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi
Lucknow, July 31 (TNA) Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ram Das Athawale on Saturday met the General Secretary of Majlis Ulema-e-Hind and Imam Juma Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi at his residence. Maulana Raza Hussain, Maulana Hasnain Bakai were also during the meeting.
After the meeting, Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi said that the meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere and several important issues were discussed with Athawale.
The Shias of Kashmir should also be specially included in the reservation because the Shias of Kashmir are also victims of extreme backwardness, for whose development work needed to be done, the cleric demanded.
Maulana further said that we also talked in detail about Shia Waqf Board and asked the government in Uttar Pradesh to complete the process of formation of Shia Waqf Board at the earliest, because old Mutawalli is still doing a lot of corruption and There is no one to stop them.
The cleric also informed that they also talked to the Union Minister of State about the corruption and corruption of Shia College and told him how even a modest teacher of the college has built a bungalow worth crores, which has no example in Lucknow.
Maulana demanded that there should be an investigation into the ongoing corruption in the Shia college that after all, where did a college teacher and his family get so much money.
Maulana said that the Union Minister has assured him that he will place our demands before the government and steps will be taken to fulfil them at the earliest.
