UP Board Sets New Record, Declares Results In Shortest Time In Its 101-year History
Prayagraj, April 21 (TNA) The Council of Secondary Education (UP Board) has created history and a new record by releasing results in the shortest time in its 101-year history. 55,25,342 students had registered for the UP Board examination. The examination started on 22nd February. In this, 27,49,364 high school and 24,52,830 intermediate candidates appeared. The examination was conducted amid tight security and vigilance.
Examination and evaluation work was done in 12-12 days. Then after working continuously for 19 days, on Saturday, Education Director Dr. Mahendra Dev and Secretary Dibyakant Shukla released the final result. This is the first time in the hundred years history of the board that the result has been released in such a short time.
Fewer holidays were given between examinations. The examination was completed in 12 working days till February 9. Due to the strictness of the board, 3,23,148 students did not come to appear for the examination.
In this way, 52,02,194 students appeared in the examination. After the completion of the examination, 259 centres were created for evaluation. Copies were delivered to the evaluation centers and the process started on March 16. 94,802 teachers were deployed for evaluation of high school copies and 52,295 teachers were deployed for intermediate.
After the evaluation, the work of preparing the results continued continuously. The officers and employees of the board remained busy in preparing the results even on holidays. The Board Secretary had set a target of releasing the results before last year and also accomplished it. The secretary said that the result came on April 25 last year. This time the result has been released five days before that. Out of these, 24,62,026 high school and 20,26,067 intermediate candidates have been successful.
