UP Cabinet Expanded, Jitin Gets Cabinet, Six More Sworn-In

Lucknow, Sep 26 (TNA) Less than five months before the state goes to polls, the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government was expanded on Sunday evening as seven ministers were sworn in by governor Anandiben Patel at the Raj Bhawan in Lucknow.

Former Congress leader Jitin Prasad who switched sides to the BJP a few months back has been sworn in as a cabinet minister.

The ministers of state who were sworn in include Paltu Ram (Balrampur), Chhatarpal Gangwar (Bareily), Sangeeta Balwant Bind (Ghazipur), Dharamveer Prajapati (Agra), Sanjeev Kumar Gond (Sonbhadra) and Dinesh Khatik (Meerut).
