UP Govt Constitutes Team Of Specialists From KGMU, RML, SGPGI To Guide Local Doctors In Fever-Hit Firozabad

Firozabad, Sep 7 (TNA) With a mysterious fever taking the children in its grip in the districts of Firozabad, Kasganj and neighbouring areas, Uttar Pradesh government has sent a team of expert doctors and specialists there.

These three teams of three specialist doctors each from SGPGI, KGMU and RML Lucknow has been constituted and is to be sent to Firozabad, Mathura and Agra districts to guide the local doctors, a health official in Lucknow told The News Agency.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also directed officials to make arrangements for additional beds, doctors, paramedical staff, medicines, testing equipment. He further added that the situation of these districts should be monitored 24×7.

Patients and their relatives should be contacted through CM Helpline to sensitise people that even if there are mild symptoms of the disease, they should contact the nearest hospital immediately.
