UP Legislator Kesar Singh Gangwar Dies Of COVID, BJP Loses Its Third MLA In A Week
Lucknow, April 28 (TNA) The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Nawabganj, Bareilly Kesar Singh Gangwar passed away on Wednesday due to COVID. He is the third MLA of the party to have succumbed to the killer virus.
He had tested positive for COVID on April 18 and was being treated initially at the Ram Moorti medical college but later shifted to a medical facility in Noida where the end came today.
Before this, the BJP had lost two of its lawmakers - Suresh Kumar Srivastava (Lucknow West) and Auraiyya MLA Ramesh Diwakar to COVID only a few days back. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has mourned the demise of the legislator.
