UP Police Gets 860 New-Age, Tech-Savvy Sub-Inspectors
Moradabad, March 18 (TNA) UP Police has got 2764 sub-inspectors after passing out from Moradabad Police Academy and other institutions. Most of them speak fluent English and are also very strong technically. They are postgraduates with B.Tech, BCA and other degrees and all of them have received special training to deal with modern crime.
830 sub-inspectors have already served as constables in the police department. They continued their preparation during the job and got two stars on their shoulders. 889 women inspectors have also passed out from the Police Training School (PTS).
Of these, 269 sub-inspectors were already posted as constables in the police department. 749 trainee inspectors passed out from Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy. Of these, 224 sub-inspectors had also been constables earlier.
Similarly, out of 1126 sub-inspectors who passed out from PTC, 337 were earlier constables. They have all trained for six months and have learned the nuances of police departments outdoor and indoor. From IPC, and CRPC to forensics, collecting evidence from the crime scene, investigation, crowd control or driving a motor vehicle, firing and horse riding, it helped a lot.
