UP Releases List Of Best, Worst Performing DMs And Departments
Lucknow, August 15 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday released the performance list of district magistrates of the state, based on various parametres of performance. The work of 12 District Magistrates, including Balrampur was found to be excellent, while that of DM Ayodhya was found to be wanting and the worst.
DM of Farrukhabad and Rampur have also fared poorlly with 73rd and 74th position respectively. While the Cooperative Department has topped the ranking, the Planning Department has been at the bottom.
The state government gives ranking every month on the basis of the performance of all the district magistrates. It includes all the points including the level of resolution of public problems and the progress of development works. The numbers are given out of a total of 130 digit integers.
In the July ranking, DMs of Pilibhit, Sonbhadra, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hamirpur, Bhadohi and Balrampur have got 128 marks, on the basis of which they have been given rank-1. The DMs of Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Baghpat, Firozabad and Mahoba have been placed at rank-7 after scoring 127 marks.
Bottom-5 in the ranking means the most lagging departments include Planning Department, Home Guard, Sports Department, Infrastructure and Industrial Development and Technical Education.
The DMs of Ayodhya, Rampur and Farrukhabad have come at the bottom three places by scoring 112, 115 and 118 marks respectively. While the District Magistrates of Lalitpur, Agra, Moradabad, Kushinagar and Kannauj have got 119 marks equally.
6 District Magistrates who got Rank-1 include Pilibhit, Sonbhadra, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hamirpur, Bhadohi and Balrampur. 6 District Magistrates who got Rank-7 are of Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Baghpat, Firozabad and Mahoba. 9 District Magistrates who got Rank-13 are DM Rae Bareli, Jhansi, Mirzapur, Etawah, Aligarh, Bahraich, Kaushambi, Mainpuri and Banda.
8 District Magistrates who got Rank-22 include Chandauli, Badaun, Ballia, Gonda, Ambedkar Nagar, Prayagraj, Unnao and Amethi. 16 District Magistrates who got Rank-30: Ghaziabad, Pratapgarh, Bulandshahr, Basti, Mathura, Meerut, Saharanpur, Sitapur, Amroha, Jaunpur, Kasganj, Auraiya, Shravasti, Barabanki, Azamgarh and Hapur
6 District Magistrates who got Rank-46: Santakbirnagar, Muzaffarnagar, Chitrakoot, Maharajganj, Etah and Ghazipur. 9 District Magistrates who got Rank-52: Hathras, Hardoi, Siddharthnagar, Shamli, Kanpur City, Lucknow, Deoria, Binjore and Sambhal.
7 District Magistrates who got Rank-61: Jalaun, Gorakhpur, Fatehpur, Mau, Varanasi, Kanpur Dehat and Sultanpur.c5 District Magistrates who got Rank-68: Lalitpur, Agra, Moradabad, Kushinagar and Kannauj.
Top-5 departments in the ranking include Cooperative Department, Urban Development and Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation, Irrigation-Water Resources, Agriculture Department and Rural Development Department.
