UP Sets New Record By Innoculating 10 Crore People, First State In India To Do So

Lucknow, Sep 25 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh on Saturday set a new record by administering 10 crore doses of Covid vaccine, a state government spokesman said. By doing so UP has become the first state in India to do so.

According to information provided by the state government, 8.04 lakh people got the vaccine on Friday, after which the graph of vaccination started in the state on Saturday reached beyond 10 crores in the afternoon. A total of 10,00,36,235 people have been given vaccine doses so far in the state.

Maharashtra, which has vaccinated 7.78 crore people, has reached the second number and Madhya Pradesh, which has vaccinated 6.05 crore people, has reached the third number. In UP, 54.12 percent people got the first dose of the vaccine.

According to the released numbers, so far the number of people who took the first dose of the vaccine in UP is 8.14 crore and the number of people taking both the other doses is 1.82 crore.
