UP Vidhan Sabha Launches Intelligence Search App For Lawmakers And General Public

Lucknow, February 12 (TNA) In another big, far-reaching digital initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on Monday launched an app - UPVS Intelligent Search App, which can be easily downloaded through Android's Google Play Store and Apple's App Store. In this app, the entire proceedings of the Legislative Assembly from the first meeting of the 'North Western Provinces and Awadh Legislative Council' held at Thornhill Memorial Hall, Allahabad on January 8, 1887 till February 2023 are available online.

Using UPVS Intelligent Search App, members of the state assembly as well as general public can search any kind of information related to old proceedings. Apart from this, official and effective gazettes of Government of India, Uttar Pradesh Government, newspaper clippings on important topics and biographies of currently elected Honorable Members are also available in this app, which Honorable Members can use as per their requirement. Important topics in newspaper clippings have been divided topic-wise, through which the app can search activities on any topic and get details about it.

This is a system through which any citizen can go to the search engine and get information about the activities done in the Legislative Assembly by feeding any public representative/region/subject or related keywords. The use of this app will also help the research students in their research work which can have a positive impact on the society.
