UPPSC Shifts Main Examinations Of PCS, RO-ARO And Staff Nurse Recruitment For Next Year

Prayagraj, June 6 (TNA) In the calendar released by UPPSC on January 12, 2024, Staff Nurse (Unani/Ayurvedic) (Male/Female) Main Examination-2023 was proposed to be held on June 9, 2024, Combined State/Senior Subordinate Service (PCS) Main Examination-2024 was proposed to be held on July 7, 2024 and Review Officer (RO)/Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Main Examination-2023 was proposed to be held from July 28, 2024

After the revised calendar of the year 2024 was released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), three main examinations have been postponed till next year. In such a situation, it will be a big challenge for the commission to bring the session of recruitment examinations back on track. These also include the most prestigious recruitment examination of the state like PCS.

These three main examinations cannot be included in the revised calendar released by the Commission on June 3. The RO/ARO Preliminary Examination-2023 held on 11 February 2024 was cancelled due to a paper leak. After this, the Commission postponed the PCS Preliminary Examination-2024 proposed on 17 March and Staff Nurse (Greek/Ayurvedic) (Male/Female) Preliminary Examination-2023 proposed on 22 March.

According to the revised commission calendar, the preliminary examination of RO/ARO will now be held on 22 December at the end of the year. At the same time, PCS Preliminary Examination-2024 will now be held on 27 October and the preliminary examination of Staff Nurse Recruitment has been proposed on 8 September. In such a situation, the main examinations for all three recruitments can now be conducted only in 2025.
