Veteran Hindi Journalist Rameshwar Pandey ‘Kaka’ Passes Away

Lucknow, June 7 (TNA) Veteran journalist Rameshwar Pandey passed away on Wednesday, leaving behind a shell-shocked family, friends and media fraternity in the state capital. He complained of unease in the morning and was rushed to a nearby medical facility in Indiranagar where he was pronounced dead.

He was one of the seniormost Hindi journalists in the state and was fondly referred to as ‘Kaka’ by his admirers. He had served as editor in popular Hindi dailies like Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran.

Journalists from across the state have condoled the demise of Pandey. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and state assembly speaker Satish Mahana were the first to express their condolences to the bereaved family.
