Vistara Plane Hit By Bird, Lands At Lucknow Airport

Lucknow, December 14 (TNA) Passengers on board a Vistara flight coming from Delhi to Lucknow has a miraculous escape on Tuesday after a bird hit. The pilot of Vistara Airlines flight UK-641 made a safe landing of the aircraft flying at an altitude of 2600 feet at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer inspected the cockpit along with the engine and fan of the aircraft. The aircraft was grounded for detailed check.

Another plane was requisitioned from Delhi but not before 166 passengers had wait for five-and-a-half hours were sent from Lucknow to Delhi. At 8:57 pm, the plane left for Delhi with 166 passengers from Lucknow.
