Western UP’s Biggest Arms Dealer Arrested By Ghaziabad Police

Ghaziabad, April 13 (TNA) Crime Branch and Muradnagar Police have arrested Zaheeruddin, the biggest arms dealer of western Uttar Pradesh. He was absconding for the last one and a half years and was trying to escape to a Gulf country. Police had issued a lookout notice against the accused and finally arrested him from Delhi IGI Airport.

He was on the run after the busting of two illegal arms factories in Muradnagar last year. SP Crime Dr. Diksha Sharma informed that Zaheeruddin is a resident of Sarai Bahlin Tile, Meerut. In the past, he has been jailed in Meerut in the year 2019 and in the year 2020 for running an illegal arms factory and smuggling weapons.
